Here I will highlight trends that are “hot now” (thoughts of Krispy Kreme dancing in my head). Many of the cities’ older homes have siding that have seen better days. Older siding mixed with moisture deteriorates quickly. This type of damaged siding looks like compressed cardboard. Many customers are also replacing their rough cedar lap siding that appears dried-out and general looks dated. Many, then, search for a new improved siding with low maintenance.
Over the last several years more customers have been asking for masonry siding (i.e. Hardie Board). The accompanying photo shows one of the projects that highlights the difference in old verses new. Hardie does come in a variety of colors, however, you can choose to paint Hardie: customizing the look of your home. Our last customer came outside numerous times to watch the transformation. Each time admiring the changes. She thoroughly loves the new look of her home. The end results always count the most: customer satisfaction
