I hope that while you are reading this that you have and are seeking joy in your life. Now, more than ever, we have to be purposeful in pursuing activities, attitudes and a life that edifies not only ourselves, but ways to help others we encounter. Whether it’s people we see in the rare in-person contact (be sure you’re safe distancing and keeping those masks on!), through video-calls/conferences, or phone calls, be mindful about how you’re interacting. Everyone is on edge about something right now, which is true I suppose all of the time, but these are extra-difficult times, so let’s try to be more considerate towards one another.
In our business our goal is try to reduce the stress that oftentimes comes with changes happening in their living/working spaces. We do this by ensuring we’re managing the crews and materials being used on your project effectively and with great care. We also work hard to make corrections quickly and responsively to the owner’s needs. The work environment is kept tidy and we focus on using protective gear and health standards for everyone’s safety.
In my family we’ve been seeking ways to find joy through not only family interactions but also encouraging time for personal care by having alone-time space. Whether we’re out on a nearby, mini-vacation, or at home, finding time by oneself can be just as healing as spending quality family-time. One of our frequent favorite activities has been experiencing drive-in theatre movies; for the first time for our adult-children. If you haven’t been to the drive-in for awhile, I highly recommend it! We’ve also enjoyed witnessing some amazing celestial events: the Comet Neowise and the Perseid Meteor Showers.
All of us here at Renovate Paint and Design hope that you find ways to have fun, experience or learn something new, and find ways to connect with others. We will get through this time and end up stronger than before if we are mindful about how we spend this time and how we treat others. Remember, one of the best ways to care for others is to ensure you’re keeping safety protocols: wear a mask, keep a safe distance, and wash your hands before touching your face. Please let us know how we can help you in your personal/family spaces to make them places that bring more joy to your life, and/or keep you better protected.
