One of our repeat customers wanted us to build them a larger outdoor area for entertainment. Always ready to tackle any project, our crew started from the ground up, transforming a preexisting 10’x10’ porch to an 11’x35’ screened-in patio with all the bells and whistles.

Curious about what it took to get it done? Well, I’ll tell you.

To begin construction, our team started by pouring in a concrete foundation and installing outer cedar posts and beams to support the new ceiling. The ceiling rafters were tied into the siding with flashing and a new roof to weatherproof the structure. Once the layout was secure and stable, they were able to screen-in and properly create the covered patio. For functionality and comfortability purposes, the final touches were new lighting and ceiling fans.

Thanks to the diligence of our RPD team, the process went smoothly and turned out wonderfully. The customer now has a place to enjoy their TV and music while keeping cool, both during the day and night. It is now their sanctuary. They have splurged and bought beautiful cushioned chairs and a matching couch (Check out Chair King for outdoor furniture.).

It is a slice of heaven, especially without the mosquitoes.
